No Brainer
Fundraisers
There are several ways you can
help raise money for our school with
minimal effort on your part and no additional purchasing other than your
normal every day shopping. Read on to learn about these easy
fund-raisers.

1. |
Milk Bottle Caps --
For
each milk bottle cap turned in, our school receives $0.05.
We collect caps from Kemps milk and Golden Guernsey milk.
Ask for milk caps anytime you stop
by your favorite Starbuck’s. |

2. |
Box Top$ for Education -- For each box top from
100’s of different General Mills Products that we submit,
our school will collect $0.10. Last year we collected 3500
box tops which turned into $350 cash for our school. Also,
for you “on-line shoppers” out there, if you go to the Box
Top$ for Education website and register before going to some
of your other favorite on-line stores like The Gap, LLBean,
Lands End, Barnes and Noble and many, many more, these
stores will donate a percentage of your purchase to our
school. The percentage varies with each store. Check it out!
It literally takes just minutes to register and these
purchases add up quickly, as we all know.

Credit Card, please designate KENOSHA MONTESSORI SCHOOL as
your school of choice. You can do this by calling
1-800-316-6142 or just stop by our local Target store. |

Pick’N Save also donates 1% of all purchases to the school

Spiegelhoff’s Supervalu -- Again,
Spiegelhoff’s donates 1% of all purchases to the school of
your choice. All you need do is have your receipt stamped
with their SuperValu logo and turn them in to the school. We
then submit them for their donation on a monthly basis. Make
certain that you have the clerk stamp your receipt and then
turn them in frequently because they do expire. |

Scrip -- Scrip is a term that means
substitute money. When KMS members purchase scrip, they're
purchasing negotiable gift certificates that are used just
like cash. KMS members can use scrip to purchase everyday
expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with
every purchase, they earn revenue for our school. KMS buys
the scrip from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount, and
re-sells the certificates to our members for full face
value. The bulk of the discount - from two to fifteen
percent or more - is retained by our school as revenue. You
can designate whether you want your order’s proceeds to be
100% donated to the school, or 50% of the proceeds can be
applied quarterly, as a reduction to your tuition. Ask staff
members for a scrip order form or print it from our KMS
website. Submit orders with payment by 5:30PM each Monday
to receive your Scrip cards or certificates by Friday of
that same week. Check out the website for a complete list of
retailers or contact our coordinator for more details. |

Market Day --
New
last year is KMS’s joining with St. Mark’s to offer Market
Day to our families. Market Day was founded to help schools
raise money for education. You can order a full menu of
delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner items to complete any
meal. A portion of the proceeds goes to KMS.
