Our Mission
| The Kenosha Montessori School strives to cultivate and
honor children’s innate love of learning as they prepare for
a life of purpose, integrity, and academic accomplishment.
KMS adheres to the Montessori philosophy of educating the
“whole child”, through the use of self-directed instruction
and self-correcting materials. We aim to give the students
the skills and confidence to meet the challenges of self,
family, community, and the world at large. |

The Basic Goals of K.M.S. include:
• To open the possibilities for joyful learning and to
foster self-motivation and personal competence.
• To develop a free and inquiring mind in all areas of
interest.
• To cultivate the child’s sense of beauty.
• To assist in integrated growth.
• To encourage persistent effort in the pursuit of
knowledge.
• To give each child, through our respectful treatment
of him/her, a belief in his own human dignity and that
of others and to help him attain trust in the worth of
his own work and words.
